Well it was an apple tree but upon the purchase of a second tree I felt compelled to call it an orchard. Next year we will be adding 12 trees. The biggest obstacle is figuring out how to stop Satan's helpers, commonly known as squirrels. The two trees are Fuji and Golden Delicious. All of the trees I add in the spring will be cider trees. So far Vintage Virginia looks like the best place to get trees but I am also going to scout Amish country up in PA for heirloom varieties.
